Photo Capture Feature — MAP Portal
01 The MAP Queue
When an appointment is added to a MAP's queue, a new column on the time slot appears titled "Pictures." This is where any uploaded images pertaining to the draw will appear. The image uploading step is visible during the check-in process.

02 Begin Patient Check-In
Initiate the patient check-in process to confirm arrival and update appointment status.

03 Taking Photos
During the check in process, the ability to take or upload a photo is found when scrolling down to the bottom of the page, right before the check in or finalize button. MAP users can take a photo directly from their device, whether it is a laptop, tablet, or mobile device. When using the take photo option for the first time, a browser confirmation will likely appear asking to allow permissions for the browser to access your camera. Should you choose not to allow this process, you will have the ability to upload a photo instead. After taking the image, it will upload to the appointment.

04 Upload Photos
Alternatively, MAPs can upload a photo from their device if the user's device does not have the ability to take a picture or lacks a webcam.

05 Photo Upload
When uploading a photo, the option to select a photo from the user's device will pop up allowing you to select the file.

06 Confirmation of Upload
After a successful upload, the image will appear below the upload field. Once uploaded, be sure to confirm all the required information has been entered for this appointment.

07 Complete Check-In Process
After confirming all the information, click Finalize to complete the check-in process.

08 Review Submitted Details
After finalizing the appointment, the uploaded photo can be viewed in the respective appointment slot. The lab is also able to view this photo from their portal.

09 Access Additional Options
When clicking the View option, the uploaded image or images will be visible.
